Kylie Minogue is on the brink of announcing details of her first live shows since being diagnosed with breast cancer 12 months ago.
The Aussie pop star is understood to have scheduled a number of comeback concerts in her home town of Melbourne for November.
However, it seems the dates at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne will see Kylie's long-awaited return to the live stage and the public eye.
A "source" told the U.K.'s
People newspaper: "She insists on Melbourne for her family, friends and hometown supporters.
"And her people have already pencilled in the dates in November--the height of summer Down Under--to guarantee a booking."
Her manager Terry Blarney commented: "Kylie is going to come back better than ever and we thank the fans for giving her the time to recover."
Meanwhile, Kylie has been speaking positively about the good progress of her health, which has seen her working on new music.
She told
The Mirror: "I'm still taking things slowly, but I've had a great week in the studio and things couldn't be any better."

`Captain EO`, the 3D movie Michael Jackson made exclusively for Disneyland in 1986 will return to the theme park in February 2010.
'Captain EO’ was a Disneyland feature from 1986-1997.
Disney Parks have confirmed the 17-minute 3D attraction will return in February to give fans that have never experienced it one last chance to witness the performance.
