Jeniffer Lopez and ex-husband Ojani Noa says the tell-all book he hopes to publish wouldn't spill sex secrets or trash the singer-actress but would be "my story ... of meeting her, being in love ... and the pain" of her alleged cheating.
"Everyone in town knows about the cheating. ... I would tell about the pain I felt," Noa told the Daily News yesterday when asked if his manuscript accused Jennifer Lopez of playing around.
Noa cleared the air after a hearing on the matter in Los Angeles Superior Court. Lopez, who wants to block the proposed book, "The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrayal of a Serial Thriller," did not attend.
"Let's play fair!" the Cuban-born ex-waiter said when asked if he'd like to send a message to the now-Mrs. Marc Anthony.
A judge yesterday ordered that the dispute be resolved in private arbitration, as the actress requested, to avoid a public trial. He told the parties to come back July30 to report their progress.
In the meantime, an injunction bars Noa from publishing any memoir that mentions Lopez or from publicly disparaging her or revealing intimate details about her or their life together.
Noa denied he leaked a copy of the sexed-up book outline to a newspaper last year.
