R&B sensation Akon is currently heating up the charts with hits "Smack That" and "I Wanna Love You". The singer recently made headlines saying that Eminem was back with Kim Mathers. Akon told us it was a “mis-quote that just came out of nowhere". He also spoke about solving the situation. "I personally had to call Em myself again. He's like 'Akon, I know, you don't have to tell me' cause he deals with it all the time".
Akon told us he really wants to collaborate with 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson. "If you want to do something you have to speak it into existence. So I've been speaking it. Oh yes, I want to work with Mike".
We also talked to him about his ownership of a South African diamond mine, "Pretty much what we're doing is we're selling diamonds and the profits are going back to rebuild Africa. We have a lot of natural resources back home and we're like the only place in the world that hasn't really evolved in technology".
