 Avril Lavigne says her new tour will be the most "bright and colourful" yet.
The 'Sk8er Boi' singer has revealed the 'Best Damn Tour' - which begins in Victoria, Canada, on March 5 - will feature spectacular dances, giant TV screens and a "pink-sparkled drum kit".

 Avril Lavigne will hit the road next spring in North America in support of her most recent RCA album, "Best Damn Thing." The trek, announced yesterday (Nov. 6) during a media event at Los Angeles' Whisky A-Go-Go, will feature opening acts Boys Like Girls.
Dates begin March 5 in Victoria, British Columbia, and run through May 9 in Spokane, Wash., with more to be added.

Avril Lavigne is offering her world class fans a special treat by releasing her new single "Girlfriend" in eight different languages. In addition to English, fans can sing along to the song's chorus in Spanish, French, Mandarin, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Italian. Avril's manager Terry McBride says the pop-punk star spent hours working with language coaches to master the linguistics.
