Madonna spent her first day in Malawi touring development projects in a small village in Malawi. She brought her daughter Lourdes with her while she learned about food supplies in the impoverished village. Madonna is in the process of adopting one year old David Banda from Malawi, although the boy already lives with her in London.
On Tuesday Madonna visited the Malawian orphanage where she first found David Banda, the one-year boy she's trying to adopt. Madonna arrived with baby David and her biological daughter Lourdes. During their arrival, security and young children tried to protect the star from journalists. Madge is visiting the African nation to fund a new clinic in the region.
