The Game plead not guilty on Thursday (June 7) to charges stemming from an altercation during a pick-up basketball game in his hometown of Los Angeles.
According to the Associated Press, the rapper (born Jayceon Taylor) entered a non guilty plea in Los Angeles County Superior Court to felony charges of making criminal threats, possessing a firearm in a school zone, and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer.
The charges are a result of an incident that took place at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South L.A. where The Game is being accused of punching a man and later threatening to shoot him.
Taylor faces five years in prison if found guilty.
