U2 is currently holed up in a recording studio located in Fez, Morocco, collaborating and writing songs with their creative colleagues Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois. While a number of new tracks have been completed, drummer Larry Mullen, Jr. reports on U2.com that it's too early to tell if any of those collaborations will make it on the next album.
"It's the first time we've worked with Brian and Dan in a purely songwriting capacity," Larry said. "So it's very different, quite experimental and kind of liberating because of that..."

U2 will play a free show in Germany to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The 'Get On Your Boots’ rockers will play in front of Berlin’s iconic Brandenburg Gate as part of the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) on November 5, as a prelude to the city’s 'Fall of the Wall’ celebrations.
The group's manager, Paul McGuinness, said: "It'll be an exciting spot to be in, 20 years almost to the day since the wall came down."
