Alicia Keys has announced October 23 as a tentative release date for her third album, As I Am (no relation to will.i.am). The J Records release finds the young vocalist collaborating with in-demand songwriter Linda Perry on songs like "The Thing About Love," which Keys debuted at the Live Earth event on Friday.
Keys revealed that the forthcoming release will also boast a more rocking sound, with cameos by John Mayer and Floetry singer Marsha Ambrosius. "Being able to be so free with no expectations... the results surpass whatever I could imagine," Keys told Billboard. "I am thankful and blessed at how this music is coming out."
