Singer and actress Beyonce Knowles has been named the new face of American Express, adding another multi-million dollar endorsement deal to her resume.
According OK! magazine, Beyonce joins the list of other notable names backing the financial corporation that also includes Ellen DeGeneres, Robert De Niro, Kate Winslet, Venus Williams and Tiger Woods.
"She's a role model for so many young people," reports OK! "She has tremendous cross-over appeal the same way Tiger does. She's an inspiration for lots of people. She's a great fit for American Express."
Beyonce has already shot print ads for the multi-million dollar campaign and is scheduled to begin shooting commercials in New York City on August 6.
Beyonce also recently inked a deal with Giorgio Armani to front its new women's fragrance, Emporio Armani Diamonds, slated to launch this fall.
