Ricky Martin got four Latin Grammy Award nominations for the album "MTV Unplugged," organizers of the awards said on Wednesday.
Another veteran Latin musician, Juan Luis Guerra, also was nominated in a range of categories for "La Llave De Mi Corazon" (The Key to my Heart).
The 8th annual awards show from the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences is to be televised live from Las Vegas on November 8 on the Spanish-language Univision network.

New York City intends to showcase its diverse Latin community as it plays host for the first time to the Latin Grammy awards. "We are the true Latin capital," said Maureen J. Reidy, the president of NYC Big Events, the city organization that brought the event to Madison Square Garden. "We have the most diverse Latin population."
Ricky Martin will have his own MTV Unplugged. The Puerto Rican superstar has been unveiled as the featured act in the newest MTV Unplugged series to be produced by MTV Latin America in conjunction with MTV Tr3s, the network's U.S. Latin channel.
Cher is reportedly set to marry a man 26 years her junior.
