Hip-Hop mogul 50 Cent is calling a technicality to keep him in the rap game, after staking his career on a lost bet with Kanye West.
As previously reported, the rapper swore he'd hang up the mic if his album Curtis didn't outsell Kanye West's Graduation.
Fif lost. Graduation debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 by shifting 957,000 copies of his discs. Curtis came in at No. 2, selling 691,000 copies.
"[My album] was No. 1 internationally the week it came out," he told New York's Daily News. "It was the No. 1 European album!"
We couldn't find record of the wager parameters excluding European sales. Apparently, they count.
50 Cent has been ordered to pay up after losing a lawsuit filed against him by a photographer.
