Following a mammoth sell out Arena tour in May, The One and Only Girls Aloud announce a brand new UK Arena tour starting in Glasgow’s SECC on May 7th 2008 and culminating in Manchester at the MEN on May 31st.
The tour coincides with the release of 'Tangled Up’, the new album from Girls Aloud, which was released through Fascination Records this week.
The album, produced by long-standing collaborators Xenomania, sees the girls return with a pack of hits. The album has already been critically acclaimed by the press who have said Girls Aloud have set the benchmark for what a girl group should be. 'Tangled Up’ includes the hit singles 'Sexy! No No No,’ and 'Call The Shots’
The album is Girls Aloud’s fifth, representing amazing longevity in the fickle world of pop music. Their previous albums were 2003’s debut 'Sound Of The Underground’, 2004’s 'What Will The Neighbours Say’, 2005’s 'Chemistry’ and last year’s best of, 'The Sound Of Girls Aloud’.
During the course of these albums, Girls Aloud have had a fantastic level of success with their singles. 'Sexy! No No No,’ was their sixteenth top ten single, a run that has seen them land a place in the Guinness World Records book for the most top ten hits in a row in the UK by a female group.
Be sure to be first in the queue to avoid disappointment as demand for tickets to see the Girls, is bound to be huge !!!
