Ne-yo and Nelly join US Hip-Hop Awards
 Ne-Yo, Nelly Furtado and Common were among the performers gracing the Hammerstein Ballroom stage last night (Oct. 5) in New York as part of VH1's fourth Hip-Honors. This year's honorees were Missy Elliott, Whodini, Snoop Dogg and A Tribe Called Quest, and there were also special tributes to the New Jack Swing movement and the film "wild Style."

 Snoop Dogg will hand in his mic and work as a handyman in a Californian park as punishment for attempting to board a plane with an illegal weapon it has been confirmed.
The rapper has been sentenced to 160 hours community service after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a dangerous weapon last month.
He will be based at the Orange County park and duties will include picking up litter, raking leaves and painting benches.

Snoop is remixing Cash’s 'I Walk The Line’ from The Sun Sessions.
The album will be called Johnny Cash Remixed and is being driven by Cash’s son, John Carter Cash.
'My father made his stead by defying the expected and accepted way of things' John Carter Cash said in a statement.
