Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has sparked rumours Kanye West will headline this year's festival. 
The 'Stronger' rapper is hot favourite to top the bill at the world famous music extravaganza, in Somerset, England, after Eavis announced he had booked a "black American headliner" to appeal to a younger audience.
He told British TV show 'BBC Points West': "I'm putting on a black American headliner, who is absolutely terrific, that's going to appeal to those people."

Amy Winehouse has dumped her trademark black beehive for a new bleached blonde hairstyle. 
The troubled 'Rehab' singer - who has just returned from a Caribbean break where she stayed at rocker Bryan Adams' villa - showed off her revamped hair-do, accessorised with a yellow patterned headscarf, when she visited a London newsagents yesterday (09.01.08).
A spokesperson for the star said: "She wanted a new look for the new year."Meanwhile, the 24-year-old singer, who has had a well-documented battle with alcohol and drugs, has admitted she is "terrible drunk".
Amy told America's OK! magazine: "Drinking long-term is a lot worse than doing heroin. Alcohol's a real poison. I'm not a nice drink. If I go to the gym and have a drink I'm lovely to be around.
"But if I haven't been training or if there's something bothering me, I'm a terrible drunk."

Britney Spears' new paparazzo lover is "mad and sex-mad", according to his ex-girlfriend. 
Nichole Grimes "fell-head-over-heels" for Birmingham photographer Adnan Ghalib - who is now dating the 'Gimme More' singer - only to discover he was cheating on her with her best-friend.
Nichole, 35, said: "Britney should watch out - he's wild. To say he was a ladies' man was an understatement. He couldn't get enough. He's mad and sex-mad.

Victoria Beckham has been named the world's worst dressed woman. 
The Spice Girl, who has her own fashion label, topped the annual list by designer Mr. Blackwell, narrowly beating Amy Winehouse and Mary-Kate Olsen.
Of Victoria's dress sense, he said: "Forget Fashion Spice - wearing a skirt would suffice! In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty Posh can really wreck-em."
Last year's 'winner', Britney Spears was spared from the list due to her recent troubles, which has seen her hospitalised and lose all visitation rights to her two young sons.

Spice Girl Mel C will celebrate her 34th birthday on stage on Saturday (12.01.08). 
The singer is "very excited" by the prospect of spending her special day performing at The O2 in London with her bandmates Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
She said: "I'm really looking forward to the show on the 12th because it's my birthday and I've never performed on my birthday before. I can't think of a better way to spend the evening!"
Mel - who is the only Spice Girl yet to become a mother - also said she enjoyed spending time with family and friends over the Christmas period.

Eminem was rushed into hospital in Detroit over the Christmas break and was treated for a 'serious heart condition' and 'severe pneumonia', a report claims. 
The controversial rapper's weight is believed to have ballooned to 200lbs (14 and a half stones) in recent months, which has not helped his condition.
TMZ claims that Em – real name Marshall Mathers – has since been discharged from hospital and is now at home recuperating.

Eco-activist Sting has been criticised by environmental campaigners - for creating a massive carbon footprint with his band The Police at the Live Earth concert.

Mariah Carey has slammed reports she is feuding with Jennifer Lopez. 
The 'Hero' singer vehemently denied ever saying she would rather "be on stage with a pig" than duet with J.Lo, insisting the remarks are "sad" and a "complete untruth".
Mariah told People magazine: "This is just some Internet gossip and it's pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real.
This is another sad example of two strong women being pitted against each other."
Mariah is currently putting the finishing touches to her new album, which is due out in the spring.
The Grammy award-winning star admits she is incredibly excited about the LP, the follow-up to 2005's 'The Emancipation of Mimi'.

Britney Spears refused to speak to TV doctor Phil McGraw when he confronted her in her hospital room.
The star reportedly never invited the celebrity therapist to visit and was surprised when he appeared at the Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Saturday.
Spears, who was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night after refusing to hand over her two sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline, allegedly walked out of the room when McGraw entered.

Pop star Lily Allen has hit out at people who brand supermodels like Kate Moss "role models" - because they should be looking closer to home for inspiration. 
The Smile singer, 22, also refuses to acknowledge herself as a role model for her fans, because she doesn't think she is worthy of the label.
She tells Marie Claire magazine, "I don't see myself as a role model; people should look to mothers and sisters for role models."
