When it comes to best rap album, 45 percent of those surveyed said Kanye West's Graduation topped all rap albums in 2007, while his Chi-Town brethren, Common, came in a distant second with 17 percent voting for Finding Forever. Jay-Z's Kingdom Come fell just behind with 16 percent, followed by Nas's Hip-Hop is Dead (13%) and T.I.'s T.I. Vs T.I.P (6%).
In a previous poll, SOHH readers correctly predicted Kanye West would sell more albums than 50 Cent, who shared a release date with West.
When asked to choose the Best R&B Album, Ne-Yo's Because of You topped the list with 38 percent, followed by Akon's Konvicted (29%), Keyshia Cole's Just Like You (25%), Fantasia's Fantasia (4%) and Emily King's East Side Story (barely 2%).
