Amy Winehouse is set to receive £500,000 for a one-off performance.
The troubled singer has been offered the vast sum by French fashion house Louis Vuitton - famed for their designer bags and luggage - to appear at their show during Paris Fashion Week and will fly her from London by private jet today (29.02.08).
A source said: "Louis Vuitton are huge fans of Amy and think she'll be the perfect performer during their show, which is one of the most anticipated throughout the week. It's a lot of money but they know she'll be worth it."
However, Amy's unique fashion sense isn't admired by everyone as she was voted Worst Dressed at last night's (28.02.08) Shockwaves NME Awards 2008. The beehive-haired singer beat off competition from Pete Doherty, Johnny Borrell and Mika to be given the dubious accolade at the London ceremony.
Earlier this week, it was revealed Amy is set to launch her own fashion range, which will include clothing and make-up.
A source said: "Amy's distinctive style has been copied by girls around the country and there's a lot of money to be made. "She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, head scarves, eyeliner and perfume. All the things that make her who she is."
The signature piece is set to be the black liquid eyeliner which Amy wears heavily around her eyes.
Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital last night (28.07.08) after collapsing from a suspected drug overdose.
Paramedics spent 40 minutes at her London home after she suffered convulsions, while police were also in attendance to clear waiting paparazzi.
Amy was then carried out on a stretcher, covered with a blanket and wearing an oxygen mask. Her father Mitch accompanied her and tried to play down the incident,
claiming: 'She’s fine, she just mixed up her m read more

The troubled singer has become obsessed with the 1939 musical film, and is using it as the basis for her upcoming LP - the follow up to Grammy award-winning second album 'Back to Black’.
The new record will reportedly feature samples from the original songs and film score, and will draw heavily on its storyline.
