Britney fails in estate appeal |

 Britney Spears has failed in a bid to request an appeal over her father taking control of her estate. James Spears was granted custody of his daughter’s property and finances while the singer was in a psychiatric unit. The terms of the court order gives her father conservatorship until July 31 2008.
Rumours that Spears is being lined up to appear in the next I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, are apparently way off the mark. |

Amy receives Brown boost |

 Amy Winehouse received a boost when Prime Minister Gordon Brown came out and confessed to being a long time fan of the riotous vocalist.
Brown admitted being in awe of her vocal talents believing the negative press is singer unfair, maybe a reflection on his current situation.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror he said, "Amy is incredibly talented, with an incredible voice. I'm a big fan. She may be troubled but as much as anything I think she is simply misunderstood.
"She (Winehouse) is as talented as she is misunderstood." |

Usher holds on to US No.1 spot |

 Usher is U.S. N.1 for a third week.
"Love In This Club," which features Young Jeezy, has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the whole of March.
Chris Brown's "With You," Flo Rida's "Low," Sara Bareilles' "Love Song" and "Don't Stop The Music" by Rihanna fill the other top 5 spots.
Leona Lewis' appearance on Oprah has helped to her first US top 10 hit as Bleeding Love shot up the charts from 21 to eight. |

Moloko reunion may happen |

 Roisin Murphy is still on for a Moloko reunion claiming that her previous relationship with former bandmate Mark Brydon, although a deeply painful split, was still friendly.
Now a solo artist in her own right she told WENN, "I would never say never. I know myself if I said, 'No, I'll never do that again,' five, 10 years down the line I'll end up f**king doing it and you'll come back and say, 'Ahhh - you said you'd never do it,' so I'm not going to say I'll never do it."
She added "But I miss Mark Brydon, he's a top geezer." |

She wants that old thing back
George Michael is preparing to tour the US and Canada from June 17 this year, kicking off with a Californian show at the San Diego Sports Arena. The north Londoner will hit the road throughout June, July and a couple of dates in August, ending in Florida on the 3rd. The tour will coincide with his greatest hits album, Twenty Five, due out on 1 April (and he ain’t fooling).
Kanye West has joined the roster of contributors to Lil Wayne's long-in-the-works album "Tha Carter III," tentatively due in May via Cash Money/Universal.
Having scored a second big hit without the benefit of an album, teenage rapper Lil Mama's debut finally has a release date. "VYP -- Voice of the Young People" will arrive April 29 via Jive.
Pearl Jam have announced a summer tour which kicks off in June and includes the already announced performance at the Bonnaroo Festival.
