Kylie Minogue received her OBE yesterday (03.07.08).
The 'I Should Be So Lucky’ singer collected the award - which makes her an Officer of the Order of the British Empire – at London’s Buckingham Palace for her services to music.
She was given the accolade by Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne. Kylie said: 'If anyone had told me when I was 14 that one day I would be with my family at Buckingham Palace, I just wouldn't have believed them.

Gwen Stefani says being an overweight child has made her weight conscious.
The No Doubt singer says she struggled with her weight when she was growing up and insists she has to work hard to maintain her figure.
Gwen - who is currently pregnant with her second child - said: "At school, I remember thinking that I wished I could like a girl that was so skinny and got to eat whatever she wanted. I always had to exercise.

A musical based on the lives of Victoria and David Beckham is in production.
The satirical play, entitled 'MacBecks', is set to open in January.
Long Road Productions, who are involved in the musical and have previously worked with 'Riverdance', say the production draws inspiration from Shakespeare.
The company's director, Ronan Smith, said: "We're very excited by the script - it's a wild comedy romp that borrows from Shakespeare's 'Macbeth', 'King Lear', 'Romeo and Juliet', as well as Cyrano de Bergerac. It will be a musical based on the world's best known soccer player."

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's marriage is reportedly on the rocks.
The couple - who tied the knot two months ago following a whirlwind six-month romance - are said to already be arguing about Mariah's demanding behaviour.
A source said: "Nick is basically around to attend to her diva-ish ways. When they were in Hawaii where Mariah was filming the video for 'I'll Be Lovin' U', Nick dashed off to buy her gifts at Tiffany and Co. and Louis Vuitton to keep her happy."

Amy Winehouse fled her home yesterday (02.07.08) after being placed under "house arrest" to keep her away from drugs. 
The troubled singer - who left hospital earlier this week following treatment for scarring on the lungs - is being monitored round-the-clock and even has a security guard stationed outside her home.
Yet despite the measures, Amy managed to sprint out of the house and into a waiting car of her female friends, only to later be taken home by dad Mitch. According to onlookers, the car sped off for a 20-minute drive only for the singer to jump out of the moving vehicle in Camden, North London, hurl abuse at her pals and run into the nearest pub.
Mitch soon arrived to take her home. Before the incident happened, Amy was reportedly heard screaming to be let out.

Kanye West is collaborating on a shoe line with designer label Louis Vuitton. 
The rapper was in the front row for the fashion giant’s unveiling of its Spring 2009 collection in Paris last week. Kanye, who was joined by music producer Pharrell Williams, confirmed he will be working with Louis Vuitton to design a range of men’s footwear.
Speaking at the show, dressed entirely in his own fashion line, Kayne said: "I’m here for Louis. I grew up with the Louis look, you know. I just love the style."

Madonna has reportedly refused to let husband Guy Ritchie move to New York. The 'Give It 2 Me' singer is said to have turned down the British director's plea to leave their London home and be with her in the US, saying she still wants to end the marriage.
According to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, Madonna allegedly said:
"You're not coming. I still want a divorce. Stay in London."

Beyonce Knowles is set to receive £500,000 for a one-off performance.
The 'Crazy in Love' singer - who recently married rapper Jay-Z - is set to receive £250,000 for an appearance at the Bermuda music festival, with a further £250,000 to cover her expenses.
Beyonce will join Alicia Keys and UB40 as headliners of the festival, which will also feature a performance by Beyonce's sister Solange and a host of other acts and comedians.

Britney Spears is reportedly back with old flame Adnan Ghalib. 
The couple split shortly after her meltdown earlier this year, when Britney allegedly found texts on the British photographer's phone from another woman. However, she has now reportedly been seeing him again in secret.
Adnan has been seen sneaking into the Los Angeles' gated community where the 26-year-old star lives.

Jay-Z says he would like to headline the Glastonbury Festival again, following his performance last weekend.
"Of course," the rapper replied, when asked in an interview with MTV whether he would consider returning to the Somerset event.
