Socialite Paris Hilton has hit out at U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain after he used her image in a political advertisement to attack Barack Obama without her authorization.
The controversial commercial, which was aired for the first time on Wednesday, accuses Obama of becoming a celebrity. Images of him flash up on screen alongside Hilton and Britney Spears, while a narrator says: "He's the biggest celebrity in the world, but is he ready to lead?"

Fergie will be a "sponge" when she stars in 'Nine' alongside Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman and Judi Dench.
The Black Eyed Peas singer - real name Stacy Ferguson - has been cast as prostitute Saraghina in 'Nine' and says she is thrilled she will be able to observe Oscar-winning legends Daniel Day-Lewis and Marion Cotillard on set.
She said: "I'm speechless. I'm definitely going to be a sponge on set. "I want to pick up on everything that all these brilliant actors are bringing to the table.
"I'm probably going to be the quietest that I've ever been while working just because I want to watch and learn."
