Usher is planning a 'ladies only' tour to promote his new record 'Here I Stand’.
The 29-year-old singer – who has a son with wife Tameka Foster – is keen to showcase his talent to an entirely female audience, who will appreciate his performance more.
He said: 'There are only a few artists that can pull that off. I feel like I've had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt, was definitely the type that was more intimate.
So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women? 'The ladies like to see that masculine build. They question if I still got it.'
Usher is set to perform in around 15 'intimate' venues on the exclusive 'One Night Stand’ tour.
The R'n'B singer recently revealed his own music is a fantastic soundtrack for sex sessions, and one he has used on many occasions.
He said: "Oh yeah, I have made love to a few of my songs. 'Love You Gently' is one of my favourites. Make her call you 'Daddy' when you put that one on.'
Usher has re-hired his mother just over a year after he fired her.
The 'Love In This Club’ singer – who ditched his manager mom Jonetta Patton in May 2007 - has now employed her for a second time in a bid to kickstart the success of his latest record 'Here I Stand’.
The pair released a statement saying: 'Usher has dissolved his management arrangement with Benny Medina and has re-engaged Jonetta Patton as his manager.' read more
