Janet Jackson will resume her tour this weekend.
The 'Together Again’ singer cancelled a string of shows after falling ill with an undisclosed ailment, but has announced she is now ready to perform again.
A statement from Live Nation, who are promoting the 'Rock Witchu’ North American tour, read: 'Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever.'
Her next concert will take place in Uncasville, Connecticut, tomorrow (11.10.08). Janet, 42, was forced to postpone shows in Montreal, Greensboro, Atlanta and Ft. Lauderdale after being hospitalised hours before she was due to take the stage in Canada on September 29.
She was then advised by doctors to rest until fully recuperated from her illness. The shows – part of Janet’s first American tour in seven years - will be rescheduled for a later date.
