The glamorous star had apparently forgotten to shave as she walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of her new Etta James biopic 'Cadillac Records’.
One horrified onlooker said: 'Beyonce always looks her best at these kind of events. 'She obviously either ran out of razors or just missed a bit in the bathroom.'
The singer-and-actress – who was joined by her rapper husband Jay-Z at the glitzy event – isn’t the first actress to shock fans with her unkempt pits. In 1999, Julia Roberts revealed her unshaven armpits as she waved to the crowd at the premiere of 'Notting Hill’.

MADONNA has been reportedly shopping for a new home with her "special friend" Alex Rodriguez.
According to the New York Post, the singer and the baseball star have been looking on Manhattan's Upper East Side according to property sources.
An estate agent told the paper: "Madonna personally came to look at one house a couple of months ago, and Alex has been looking recently.
"They are discreetly looking at properties between Fifth and Park Avenues, from just above 60th Street through the 80s. We're talking about private, double-width mansions in the vicinity of $30 million to $60 million (£19m-£39m)
