JANET JACKSON has split from her longterm boyfriend.
According to reports in the US, the singer has called time on her relationship with Jermaine Dupri, who was notably absent from her brother Michael's memorial service.
Friends of the couple told Us Weekly magazine that their seven-year romance is over.
A source said: "His friends are telling people it's over." Another adds,"They have been moving in different directions for a while."
It's not the first time the pair have been subject to split reports - she was rumoured to have blamed him after her last album, which he produced, underperformed.
The insider adds, "You shouldn't mix business with pleasure. Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things separate."
