JENNIFER LOPEZ was reportedly livid when her party guests were late for her grand entrance.
The singer was treated to a surprise 40th birthday party by husband Marc Anthony at New York's Edison Ballroom on Saturday night.
But her initial tears of happiness at the evening - which Anthony dubbed An Evening With Lola" - didn't last long when she lots of empty chairs which had been reserved for her showbiz friends after people failed to turn up in time.
A source told the New York Daily News: "Jennifer's party was very intimate, and there were a noticeable amount of empty seats when the dinner started.
"Jennifer was really irritated. She was fuming because people were late, and complained about it really loudly to Marc. Jennifer was visibly upset and embarrassed."
