The Pussycat Dolls have been deemed too racy for Malaysia. Malaysian authorities have fined the organizers of a Dolls concert for allowing the singers to wear skimpy costumes on stage. The group, who recently performed in Kuala Lumpur, were also targeted for "gross indecency" and "sexually suggestive routines."

The 22nd edition of the popular music series 'Now That's What I Call Music!' -- featuring smash hits by the likes of Rihanna, All American Rejects and 'Now' staple Kelly Clarkson -- reclaimed the top spot this week, selling another 127,000 copies, according to Neilsen SoundScan. That was enough to knock last week's No. 1 -- former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett's solo effort, 'LeToya' -- down to No. 5 with 65,000 copies sold.

Paris Hilton's new career as a singer keeps rolling along. The heiress will soon embark on a mini-tour to promote her upcoming album. Paris will be making stops in Miami, New York City and Los Angeles. Hilton will do double duty during the tour, with in-store autograph signing events during the day, and CD release parties at night.

Jessica Simpson has denied that her upcoming album, A Public Affair, is about her failed marriage to Nick Lachey. She said that even though that's what people expect, it's really about her trying to lead a normal life. Jennifer Lopez has reportedly dropped out of the film version of the long-running TV series, Dallas. The star was supposed to play alcoholic Sue Ellen, opposite John Travolta's portrayal of JR Ewing. Madonna wants to help orphaned children in Africa. She told Time magazine she feels responsible for the children of the world. Madge has pledged to raise at least $3 million in aid for Malawi. There are an estimated one million orphans in that nation, and many are plagued by Malaria and AIDS.

According to TMZ.com Dr. Dre and Interscope Records CEO Jimmy Iovine have filed a lawsuit against a Delaware based company over an oral breach of contract.
Filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the suit alleges that SLS International, Jibe Audio, Pentgram Design Inc. and Steve Lamar failed to honor an agreement they had with Dre and Iovine , to "manufacture,
market and distribute a line of headphones" with the given marketing title "Beats By Dr. Dre."...

Kanye West is set to take part in The Rolling Stones' North American tour this fall titled' A Bigger Bang'.
West will serve as an opening act for the rock group on their first three dates at Boston's Gillette Stadium (September 20); Halifax, Nova Scotia's Halifax Commons (September 23); and East Rutherford, New Jersey's Giants Stadium (September 27).
