 Amy Winehouse was too high on drugs to record a James Bond theme song.
The 'Back to Black' singer - who teamed up with producer Mark Ronson for the proposed 'Quantum of Solace' title track in 2008 - allegedly ruined the collaboration by partying too hard at the recording studio.
Amy's estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It just turned into an excuse for a wild drink and drugs party. She wasn't concentrating on work."
Mark later scrapped plans to work with Amy, and reportedly halted the sessions because of her drug addiction problems. |

The singer co-wrote a song called 'Million Dollar Bill' for Houston's comeback album I Look To You, with producer Swizz Beat who she is rumoured to be dating.
Speaking to MTV, he said: "I was like, 'We need to bring Whitney back. We need to do some stuff to support Whitney'. Then Alicia was like 'I would love to be a part of that'.

 Alicia Keys has been nominated for five accolades at the American Music Awards.
The 'No One’ singer will battle Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and the Eagles for the prestigious Artist of the Year award at the ceremony to be held in Los Angeles on November 23.
Alicia has also been nominated in the Female Artist and Album categories in the Pop/Rock section and Female Artist and Album in the Soul/Rhythm and Blues section.
As well as competing against Alicia in the Artist of the Year category and the Pop/Rock Album section, British band Coldplay – who received worldwide acclaim for their latest LP 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends' - will battle the Foo Fighters and Linkin Park for Alternative Rock Artist and the Eagles and Daughtry in the Pop/Rock Band, duo or group category. |

The pair fell out when recording sessions for a proposed James Bond theme went sour – which resulted in Jack White and Alicia Keys providing the opening music to 'Quantum of Solace’ – but have since settled their differences and are planning to record a track for a tribute album to Michael Jackson producer Quincy Jones.
A source said: 'It’s going to be explosive stuff. Amy first met Quincy backstage at the Nelson Mandela show in Hyde Park in June. |

 Singer Alicia Keys has postponed two UK concerts after being told by her doctor to rest her voice because of a bout of laryngitis.
Keys, whose latest album, As I Am, has sold millions of copies worldwide, was supposed to perform in Glasgow on Monday and in Manchester on Tuesday as part of her European tour.
But the Grammy-winning singer was told to spend the next few days off the stage because of the laryngitis, her publicist Patti Webster said.
The UK dates will be rescheduled.

 Another night, another batch of awards for Alicia Keys. She cleaned up at the NAACP Image Awards last night, taking home four awards, including one for best music video.
She won for outstanding female artist, outstanding album for her new release "As I Am," as well as for outstanding song for "Like You'll Never See Me Again."
Herbie Hancock was a winner last night, too - though this time, it wasn't as big of a surprise as the Grammys. He told reporters backstage at the Image Awards he still hasn't received his Grammy - that's because all winners return the one they are presented at the ceremony and get it back after it goes to the engravers. |
