 Beyonce Knowles reportedly refused to walk to her car in the cold after rehearsing for US President Barack Obama's pre-inauguration concert.
The 'If I Were A Boy' singer was furious when she was told she would have to make her own way to her car four blocks away as the surrounding streets had been shut amid heightened security before the event.
Police refused to bow to her demands, but the US Secret Service eventually decided to allow her driver to come and pick her up.
A host of celebrities converged on Washington's Capitol Hill yesterday (20.01.09) to watch the historic day which saw the first African-American President sworn in.
Beyonce was joined by her husband Jay-Z, while P. Diddy was also spotted in the near two-million strong crowd. |

 Ashlee Simpson has bought six pairs of size zero jeans to motivate her to lose weight.
The singer – who is expecting her first child with husband Pete Wentz – is reportedly so worried about shifting her post-pregnancy pounds that she purchased the tiny trousers to help her stay focused.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: 'Ashlee broke down in tears at a doctor’s appointment in early August when she found out she’s gained more weight than is considered in the healthy range. |

 Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo have proved they are still an item--by putting on a display of affection at her sister's weekend wedding.
The 27-year-old singer and Romo attended Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's wedding at the Simpson family's California home on Saturday.
It had been reported that football star Romo had called off his romance with the singer/actress after growing tired of her meddling father, Joe.
But they proved they were still very much in love during the wedding ceremony. |

 Ashlee Simpson can't stop staring at her new engagement ring.
The 'Little Miss Obsessive' singer - who recently got engaged to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz - loves her diamond sparkler so much she can't stop looking at it.
She said: "It is huge! I stare at it. I'm like, 'Oh, my god, I can't believe this is on my hand!" Ashlee refused to reveal specific details of how Pete popped the question.
She added: "I'm keeping that part sacred. But I will tell you it was very thoughtful and he did a great job." |

 The singer - who is dating Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz - has teamed up with US store Wet Seal, which will sell the tops in conjunction with the release of her third album 'Bittersweet World'.
She said: "I was inspired by so many fun, wonderful things as I was recording 'Bittersweet World' and it's been great to carry through those inspirations into these new shirt designs. I hope my fans love this album and rock out in these shirts!"Ashlee Simpson is set to design her own range of T-shirts for teenage girls. |
