 BEYONCE has won three awards at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
The singer fought off X Factor winner Leona Lewis to land the Best Female gong at last night's ceremony in Berlin, Germany.
She also won Best Song for Halo and Best Video for Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) which she dedicated to rapper husband Jay-Z, for "putting a ring on it".
Jay-Z was also in the city to perform with U2 at a free open-air concert at the Brandenburg Gate to coincide with the event, which was held in the city to mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. |

 Britney Spears is set to perform at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
The 'Womanizer' singer - who is nominated in three categories - will appear on stage at the annual event on Sunday night (09.08.09) at Universal City's Gibson Amphitheatre, in California.
Her performance will mark 10 years since the first Teen Choice Awards in 1999, where Britney - who is currently on a break from her world tour - was one of the performers.
The ceremony will also feature appearances from Black Eyed Peas, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Cobra Starship with Leighton Meester. |

The 'SexyBack’ singer has reportedly employed a literary agent to send out a short synopsis of the planned tome, in the hope of securing a publishing deal.

The rockers were speaking about a series of intimate dates for fans in California, ahead of the worldwide release of their new album 21st Century Breakdown on Friday.
Their eighth studio album leapt straight to number one after just two days on sale, knocking Bob Dylan off the top spot.
But speaking to Rolling Stone, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said the trio were scared about performing their new material for the first time.

 GREEN DAY said they are suffering "post partum depression" after the release of their new album.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong says the band is so attached to '21st Century Breakdown', they had trouble releasing it.
Speaking to The Sunday Times newspaper, he said: "It's kind of like having post-partum depression. I finally left the album about two weeks ago.
"It has literally driven me crazy, but there is definitely a side of me that loves the chaos. |
