 Lady Gaga announced today that she will release The Fame Monster, a re-package of her 4 million-selling album The Fame. The album will include the entire breakthrough album The Fame - which is the biggest selling debut album in the UK this year - along with eight entirely new songs. The Fame Monster deals with the seamier side of fame, as experienced by Gaga over the course of her last history-making year. The new version will be released on November 23rd, 2009.

 A woman has claimed she is pregnant with Beyonce Knowles' father's child.
Alexsandra Wright, thought to be in her late 30s, has filed a paternity case against Mathew Knowles at Los Angeles County Superior Court.
According to website TMZ.com, she is six months pregnant and claims Mathew is the father of the unborn baby.
Mathew has been married to Tina Knowles since 1980.
They have two children together, Beyonce, 27, and 23-year-old Solange. |

 Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s joint tour has been cancelled.
The 'Love Lockdown’ star and the 'Poker Face’ singer had planned a string of shows, which were due to start next month and run until January.
However, the tour – entitled 'Fame Kills’, and which had been planned for months – is no longer going ahead. Promoters Live Nation are yet to offer any explanation.
The news comes just weeks after Kanye was heavily criticised for invading the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards to insist his friend Beyonce Knowles should have won. |

 The 39-year-old Brooklyn native performed to a sold-out crowd Friday night for his "Answer the Call" concert, which paid tribute to the police officers and firefighters who died responding to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The Pledge of Allegiance kicked off the show, followed by "The Star-Spangled Banner" infused with an electric guitar. Jay-Z continued with his own New York anthems — including "Empire State of Mind"; "Where I'm From," a song about his upbringing in the Marcy housing projects complex; and "Brooklyn Go Hard," a collaboration with alternative singer Santigold.Since the collapse of the World Trade Center on 9/11, many people have helped rebuild New York City in different ways. Both pop stars are up for the prestigious Video of the Year and Best Female Video accolades, Beyonce for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) and Lady Gaga for Poker Face.
Beyonce, 27, said: "I'm excited and honored to be tied for most nominated for the VMAs. I've been blessed this year to have Single Ladies become a video people really connected with and responded to.

Kanye pleads not guilty |

 Kanye West has pleaded not guilty to charges of battery and grand theft.
The 'Stronger' singer - who was arrested for allegedly damaging a photographer's camera during a scuffle at Los Angeles International Airport last September - denied all charges against him, which also included misdemeanour vandalism.
Kanye was not present in the Los Angeles court but his lawyer Blair Berk appeared on his behalf.
The 31-year-old star's road manager Don Crawley was charged with two counts of battery, grand theft and misdemeanour vandalism but also pleaded not guilty through his attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.

 Kanye West faces up to two and a half years in jail following a scuffle with paparazzi.
The rapper was formally handed misdemeanour charges of vandalism, battery and grand theft yesterday (18.03.09) for the scuffle at Los Angeles airport on September 11 last year.
Kanye's road manager Don Crawley faces the same charges, but two counts of each.
The prosecuting Los Angeles attorney's office issued a statement, saying Kanye and Crawley "confronted, and engaged in an altercation with, two photographers".

 KANYE WEST has criticised Radiohead for ignoring him at the Grammys.
The rapper also said he considered them to be one of the groups who rival him creatively.
Speaking to Reuters, he said he was hurt by frontman Thom Yorke's backstage snub.
He said: "So when he performed at the Grammys, I sat the fuck down."
The Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles in February and saw Radiohead perform their album track '15 Step' with the University of Southern California Trojan Marching Band.
West, meanwhile, teamed up with Estelle to perform her number one single 'American Boy'. |

 KANYE WEST has publicly apologised to MTV for behaving like a "spoiled brat".
The rapper threw a strop backstage at 2007 MTV Video Music Awards after he walked away empty-handed for the second year in a row and claimed he had been "disrespected".
He also said that him being black was the reason he was overlooked to open the show in favour of Britney Spears, claiming: "maybe my skin's not right".
Backstage he was visibly upset and was filmed shouting "That's two years in a row, fuck MTV" and telling anyone who would listen that he would not be returning to the station.
But today, the 31-year-old star humbly apologised for his public tirade and said he was ashamed of his "spazz out".
Speaking to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest on his LA radio show, West said: "That was completely immature and disrespectful and non-appreciative of what MTV did for me; MTV made me. |

The rapper - real name Curtis Jackson - is considering creating his own range of vitamin-enriched pills but refused to be drawn on the details.
