The 'Paparazzi’ singer is about to embark on her 'Monster Ball’ tour next month and the flamboyant pop star – famed for her outrageous outfits – is going to take her fashion inspiration from the title.
She told Rolling Stone magazine: 'The fashion is going to be another exploration and another level from where we were with the previous tour, the 'Fame Ball’. The theme of monsters is certainly going to be an influence, as well as the theme of evolution and change. It's going to be a truly artistic experience that is going to take the form of the greatest post-apocalyptic house party that you've ever been to." |

The 51-year-old pop icon was impressed by the 'Paparazzi’ singer – who is a self-confessed Madonna fan – from the first time she saw her, even though she was still refining her act.
Madonna told Rolling Stone magazine: 'When I saw her, she didn’t have a lot of money for her production. She had holes in her fishnets, and there were mistakes everywhere. It was kind of a mess, but I can see that she has that 'IT Factor’. It's nice to see that at a raw stage.' |

Lady Gaga to release The Fame Monster |

 Lady Gaga announced today that she will release The Fame Monster, a re-package of her 4 million-selling album The Fame. The album will include the entire breakthrough album The Fame - which is the biggest selling debut album in the UK this year - along with eight entirely new songs. The Fame Monster deals with the seamier side of fame, as experienced by Gaga over the course of her last history-making year. The new version will be released on November 23rd, 2009.

|

 Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s joint tour has been cancelled.
The 'Love Lockdown’ star and the 'Poker Face’ singer had planned a string of shows, which were due to start next month and run until January.
However, the tour – entitled 'Fame Kills’, and which had been planned for months – is no longer going ahead. Promoters Live Nation are yet to offer any explanation.
The news comes just weeks after Kanye was heavily criticised for invading the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards to insist his friend Beyonce Knowles should have won. |

The 'Womanizer' singer - who is due to perform at the annual event tomorrow night (09.08.09) - will be presented with the Ultimate Choice Award for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry".
The 27-year-old star is also nominated in three categories, Choice Music Single, Choice Female Artist and Choice Music Tour.

 Beyonce Knowles and Lady Gaga have been nominated for nine MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
Both pop stars are up for the prestigious Video of the Year and Best Female Video accolades, Beyonce for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) and Lady Gaga for Poker Face.
Beyonce, 27, said: "I'm excited and honored to be tied for most nominated for the VMAs. I've been blessed this year to have Single Ladies become a video people really connected with and responded to.

 LADY GAGA has revealed that doing some voluntary work recently helped with her songwriting.
The Paparazzi star lent a hand at an Orange RockCorps HIV Support Centre in Manchester earlier this month and said it had helped her create "joyous melodies".
Speaking to Orange she said she likes to do "everything" she can for those in need, and added: "The volunteers there were so full of joy, so kind and full of love. It was really an amazing and inspiring thing. |

 Pop sensation Lady GaGa and award-winning N-Dubz will perform at an exclusive gig in Manchester on 13th July for thousands of volunteers. For its second year, Orange RockCorps, the music-led volunteer programme, will give people in Manchester and London the chance to earn a money-can’t-buy ticket to an all-star gig in their home city in return for four hours hard graft at community-based charity projects.
The Programme will continue with a series of four-hour projects in Paris, followed by a gig for volunteers at Le Zenith on 2nd October.
