Timbaland to release third solo album |

Multi-platinum producer, prolific hit-maker, and sonic innovator Timbaland will release his third solo album, Timbaland Presents Shock Value II, on November 23rd 2009.
The album is the follow-up to the multi-platinum 2007 album Timbaland Presents Shock Value, which spawned two massive number one hits with Give It To Me (featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake) and The Way I Are (featuring Keri Hilson and D.O.E.) and one of the best-selling singles of the decade with the remix of OneRepublic’s multi-platinum blockbuster Apologize.

Britney Spears to be given teen award |

Britney Spears will receive a special award at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
The 'Womanizer' singer - who is due to perform at the annual event tomorrow night (09.08.09) - will be presented with the Ultimate Choice Award for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry".
The 27-year-old star is also nominated in three categories, Choice Music Single, Choice Female Artist and Choice Music Tour.
She will be up against stars including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson. |

Britney to perform at teen awards |

Britney Spears is set to perform at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
The 'Womanizer' singer - who is nominated in three categories - will appear on stage at the annual event on Sunday night (09.08.09) at Universal City's Gibson Amphitheatre, in California.
Her performance will mark 10 years since the first Teen Choice Awards in 1999, where Britney - who is currently on a break from her world tour - was one of the performers.
The ceremony will also feature appearances from Black Eyed Peas, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Cobra Starship with Leighton Meester. |

Snoop Dogg wants to make "gangsta pop" with Miley Cyrus.
The rap star - who has just finished producing and performing on a Johnny Cash Remixed album - is open to experimenting with new styles of music and would happily collaborate with the 16-year-old singer, as well as pop trio the Jonas Brothers.
When asked if he would work with the Disney favourites, Snoop replied: "Hell yeah. We can make some gangsta pop music." |

Beyonce Knowles has topped a list of young rich stars.
The 27-year-old singer-and-actress’ £55 million 2008 earnings were almost double that of Justin Timberlake, also 27, who was ranked second in Forbes magazine’s list of high earners under 30 after taking home £30 million last year.
Sports stars made up the rest of the top five, with LA Lakers basketball star Kobe Bryant in third place with £26.8 million – who at 30 features in the list for the final time - 23-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player LeBron James in fourth, and tennis star Roger Federer, 27, fifth. |

Leona Lewis has recorded a charity song with Mariah Carey and Beyonce Knowles.
The British star has teamed up with 14 of the world's top female singers other top female singers - including Rihanna, Fergie and Sheryl Crow - for 'Just Stand Up' for the Stand Up To Cancer Charity, which will be released to download from September 2.
The super-group will perform the track on stage for in the Stand Up To Cancer benefit show, which is set to air simultaneously on three US television networks - ABC, NBC and CBS - on September 5. |

A release during the usually quiet Fourth of July week didn't deter sales of T.I.'s "T.I. vs. T.I.P.," which sold 468,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
