 Beyonce Knowles' fans are dumb.
Admirers of the 'Crazy in Love' singer came out second from bottom in a 'Music That Makes You Dumb' study in the US, which compared students SAT results - a standardised test taken by all American students hoping to go to college - with their favourite music.
US rapper Lil' Wayne was the only artist whose fans scored a lower average in their SAT tests according to the poll, while classical fans scored higher than anyone else.
Fans of indie music were credited with above average intelligence with fans of bands like Radiohead, Counting Crows and U2 scoring highly in their SATs. |

Coldplay are 'less s**t' than ever |

 Coldplay are "less s**t" than they used to be.
The band's frontman Chris Martin insists they are at their peak and their live performances are better than ever.
Speaking after a show in Munich, Germany, last week, Chris told Absolute Radio: "I think our concert is the least s**t Coldplay concert at the moment that you could have possibly ever seen. Do you see what I mean? We're better than we used to be."

Kanye, Eminem & T.I. Earn Multiple AMA Nods, Female Rap Category Elimated |

 The nominations for the 2006 American Music Awards were announced earlier this week and hip-hop artists like Kanye West, T.I. and the Black Eyed Peas are all in the running for more than one award.
Nominees in pop/rock, country, soul/rhythm & blues, rap/hip-hop, Latin, alternative, contemporary inspirational and adult contemporary categories were announced by Carmen Electra and Tyrese at a press conference on Tuesday September 19th.
The Black Eyed Peas matched Mariah Carey, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nickelback with three nominations for the award show, which will be held November 21 at L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium. Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, T.I. and the Pussycat Dolls each received two nominations. |
