Paramore confirm new album date |

 Fueled By Ramen recording group Paramore has announced details of their hugely anticipated third album. 'brand new eyes' will land in stores and at all online retailers on September 29th.
Produced by Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock, My Chemical Romance) and co-produced by the band, 'brand new eyes' is the long-awaited follow-up to 2007’s RIAA platinum certified second album, 'RIOT!' . The 11-track collection is unquestionably Paramore’s best and brightest album to date, fit to burst with all the exuberant melodies, breathless hooks, and irrepressible energy that has made the Nashville-based band one of the most popular rock outfits in recent memory. |

No Doubt confirm 2009 tour |

 No Doubt have confirmed their 2009 tour.
The ska punk band, who have reunited with singer Gwen Stefani, will return to the stage in May, and Stefani admits she can't wait to hit the road and have fun.
She said: "The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try out our favourite songs again and to get inspired to make new music. It feels good to be together again."
The band - Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont - are playing shows in Canada and the US before heading to Europe later in the year. |

Alicia Keys tops American Music Awards nominations |

 Alicia Keys has been nominated for five accolades at the American Music Awards.
The 'No One’ singer will battle Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and the Eagles for the prestigious Artist of the Year award at the ceremony to be held in Los Angeles on November 23.
Alicia has also been nominated in the Female Artist and Album categories in the Pop/Rock section and Female Artist and Album in the Soul/Rhythm and Blues section.
As well as competing against Alicia in the Artist of the Year category and the Pop/Rock Album section, British band Coldplay – who received worldwide acclaim for their latest LP 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends' - will battle the Foo Fighters and Linkin Park for Alternative Rock Artist and the Eagles and Daughtry in the Pop/Rock Band, duo or group category. |

Paramore release new single |

 Tennessee 4-piece Paramore release their new single That’s What You Get on May 12th through Fueled By Ramen records.
Having recently picked up a 'Best New Artist’ Grammy nomination in light of the runaway success of their latest Gold certified album Riot!, and with their last single Misery Business still gracing the airwaves of Radio 1 on a regular basis, Paramore will return to the UK to headline the Give It A Name festival in May and release their new single That’s What You Get. |

Paramore split rumours denied |

 Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has dismissed reports the band is to split - despite cancelling the remainder of their European tour over "internal issues".
The 19-year-old singer posted a message, signed by all four band members, on her blog on Thursday announcing the group needed
to take time off to work out their personal problems. But Williams has since updated her blog, insisting her comments were taken out of proportion.

Paramore to split? |

 There appears to be trouble in Paramore land. The rumours surfaced that guitarist Josh Farro and singer Hayley Williams are not seeing eye to eye.
Fuel was added to the fire when the band pulled the plug on their UK tour. Now the group's lead singer took to the band's blog to confirm there is some "internal issues" within the band.

Paramore headline Give It A Name |

 Give It A Name, the largest indoor rock event in the UK, returns for its fourth year and it promises to be the best one yet – Give It A Name 08 will visit two cities over two days, visiting London Earls Court (Saturday 10th & Sunday11th May) and Sheffield Arena (Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th May) .
