 The former Spice Girl splashed out £2,000 on the pet pooch for the soccer star and gave it to him during the family’s festive celebrations at their UK home Beckingham Palace, in Hertfordshire.
The as yet unnamed mutt will soon be flown out to Los Angeles to live with the couple and their three sons – Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz.
Victoria, 35, chose that particular breed because it is synonymous with the fighting spirit of the England soccer team and the country.
A family friend told The Sun newspaper: 'David absolutely loves the bulldog. Victoria said she chose the breed because it is a symbol of David’s spirit on the soccer field. He will be flown out to Los Angeles so the boys can look after it when their dad is away.' |

Diddy wants to sign Arctic Monkeys |

 SEAN COMBS said he wants Arctic Monkeys to join his record label.
The rapper, also known as P Diddy, recently invited the band over to his home in Miami, Florida after revealing that he was a big fan.
Drummer Matt Helders said he initially saw it as a golden opportunity to confront Combs about "stealing" his idea of filming video diaries in swimming pools while on tour.
But he decided to bite his tongue and let the issue go after he heard that not only was Combs a fan, but he wanted to sign them to his label.
And he said he has proof as he recorded the entire meeting on video tape. |

 P.Diddy is wittier than Eddie Murphy.
Tracey Edmonds, who split from Eddie last year, is now dating the rap mogul and has been comparing the two men.
She is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "Diddy is the funniest man I've ever met. I'm so lucky to find someone so soon after Eddie.
"It's early days - we've only been on three or four dates - but he's whisked me off my feet. I don't know about wedding bells but he's definitely the man for me." |

P. Diddy to launch celebrity chauffeur service |

 P. Diddy is planning to launch a chauffeur service for drunk celebrities.
The music mogul wants to stop stars from drink-driving after attending celebrity bashes.
A representative for the rapper said: "After partnering with Ciroc vodka, he wants to make sure everyone's partying responsibly."
When asked what he hoped to achieve by introducing the service, P. Diddy said: "Making sure nobody gets arrested!"
In recent times a slew of stars have been convicted of driving under the influence (DUI), including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Kiefer Sutherland, Nicole Richie and Michelle Rodriguez. P. Diddy recently revealed he wanted to take a break from the music industry to focus on making it as an actor.

 Puff Diddy is claiming that the man who sued him over a fight outside of the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood is at fault.
TMZ has obtained a declaration by Combs filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, explaining the incident (in Diddy's classic words), alleging that Gerald Rechnitzer "continued moving toward me and, without warning, lunged at me. Instinctively, I outstretched one of my hands, which hand was not closed-fisted, to shield myself

 Rapper, producer and hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs will take his celebrity to the next level when he is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in January.
Diddy broke the news recently while calling in to "The Foxxhole," Jamie Foxx's show on Sirius radio.
"I'm from Harlem, New York, so to get a star in Hollywood is just mind-blowing," Diddy said. "You can get a lot of things, but when you see those stars on the ground ... that's something I can't even say I dreamed of and to be getting recognized for it is definitely something .. |
