 Shania Twain is to appear on 'American Idol'.
The country singer has signed up to be a guest judge on the US singing contest, filling Paula Abdul's vacated spot on the judging panel on August 30 and 31.
She will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi for auditions in Chicago, but is not expected to stay on for more episodes.
Paula quit the show over an alleged pay dispute. Since she left, her place on the panel has been filled by former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, hip-hop artist Mary J. Blige and 'I Kissed a Girl' singer Katy Perry. |

 Leona Lewis and Anthony Kiedis have been named the Sexiest Vegetarians of 2008.
The 'Bleeding Love’ singer and the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman received the most votes in an online poll of fellow vegetarians conducted by animal rights group PETA.
Leona, who hasn’t eaten meat since she was 12, said: "I am totally against animal cruelty. I am vegetarian so I don't have clothes, shoes, or bags made from leather or suede or any animal products. I'm on a mission." |

The 'That Don't Impress Me Much' singer has thanked her fans for their support since she split from Robert 'Mutt' Lange after 14 years of marriage, and is hoping to express her emotions through her music.
