 Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Eminem and Bono are among stars who have recorded vocals for charity single 'We Are the World’.
The song, originally a hit in 1985 for an all-star line-up led by its writers Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, was re-recorded by some of the world’s biggest stars including Jay-Z, Barbara Streisand, Pink, Celine Dion and Jennifer Hudson to raise money for earthquake-stricken Haiti.
Natalie Cole, Justin Bieber, Usher, Wyclef Jean, Josh Groban and the Jonas Brothers were also included in the line-up, which totalled over 75 artists at final count.
Producer Quincy Jones, who was also behind the 1985 version of the song, said: 'It’s the 25th anniversary and it’s perfect timing. It’s not an accident, man. That’s God. |

 Michael Jackson's eldest two children accepted a lifetime achievement award on behalf of their late father at last night's Grammys (31.01.10).
Prince Michael, 12, and 11-year-old Paris received a standing ovation as they took to the stage at Los Angeles' Staples Center - where their dad's public memorial was held last July - to collect the honour and then paid an emotional tribute to him.

 Michael Jackson is to perform from beyond the grave in a 3-D tribute at the Grammy Awards.
Some of the world's biggest stars - including Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson and Usher - will take to the stage next Sunday (31.01.10) to sing alongside a high-tech video of the late King of Pop's 'Earth Song', a segment which was going to be an integral part of his 'This Is It' London residency.
Ken Ehrlich, Grammy co-executive producer and friend of Michael's, said: "It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael, and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes." |

A source close to the hip-hops star said: 'He thinks she is sexy, talented and has the right personality and talent to be huge in America.
'He wants to make her the new first lady of G-Unit, as it has no female artists.'

 USHER's wife was reportedly left surprised when the singer filed for divorce.
Tameka Foster told friend that they were blissfully happy just days before he filed seperation papers.
The Yeah! hitmaker, 30, filed for divorce in his native Atlanta, Georgia last month, and revealed that he had been living apart from his wife since July last year.
The documents stated there was "no reasonable hope of reconciliation".

The R'n'B star is said to have been living apart from his wife Tameka Foster - with who he has two children, 18-month-old Raymond V and six-month-old Naviyd Ely - for around a year, and divorce papers were reportedly filed in Atlanta yesterday (11.06.09).
A source said: "They haven't lived together for nearly a year after almost two years of marriage. Usher's primary concern is for his children. He is a great father and just wants to do what is right for them." |

Usher reveals new album details |

 USHER has announced that his new album will be called Monster.
The R&B star has been recording his sixth studio album, the follow-up to 2008's Here I Stand in Las Vegas and Atlanta with Janet Jackson's partner Jermain Dupri.
It is due for release this autumn on Jive Records.
The singer also confirmed, via his Twitter blog, that he has filmed a cameo alongside Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl in the upcoming Robert Luketic-helmed thriller Five Killers.
He wrote: "Here on the set of Five Killers. I'm headed in now for my first scene with Ashton and Katherine."

 Usher's wife reportedly suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest during a liposuction operation.
Tameka Foster was due to undergo the cosmetic surgery at Sirio-Libanes Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Friday (06.02.09) but fell seriously ill when she was being anesthetised for the procedure. She was then induced into a coma for 24 hours, and is now said to be recovering.
A spokesman for the hospital refused to comment on the allegations published by Brazilian news website G1, saying: "The family has demanded total privacy. The hospital is barred from giving any information." |

 Beyonce Knowles reportedly refused to walk to her car in the cold after rehearsing for US President Barack Obama's pre-inauguration concert.
The 'If I Were A Boy' singer was furious when she was told she would have to make her own way to her car four blocks away as the surrounding streets had been shut amid heightened security before the event.
Police refused to bow to her demands, but the US Secret Service eventually decided to allow her driver to come and pick her up.
A host of celebrities converged on Washington's Capitol Hill yesterday (20.01.09) to watch the historic day which saw the first African-American President sworn in.
Beyonce was joined by her husband Jay-Z, while P. Diddy was also spotted in the near two-million strong crowd. |

The singer, who launches his One Night Stand Ladies Only tour on Sunday in Atlantic City, N.J., told Billboard.com during a conference call that his follow up to this year's platinum "Here I Stand" will be "all about adapting new musical styles in creating a unique blend between what I know works here in America and what I know will be appreciated worldwide. I may go to France and do some work. I may go to London ... Japan.

 Alicia Keys has been nominated for five accolades at the American Music Awards.
The 'No One’ singer will battle Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and the Eagles for the prestigious Artist of the Year award at the ceremony to be held in Los Angeles on November 23.
Alicia has also been nominated in the Female Artist and Album categories in the Pop/Rock section and Female Artist and Album in the Soul/Rhythm and Blues section.

 Usher's next album will be called 'Here I Stand'.
The new album will be the 5th studio album from the R 'n' B star and his first since the multiplatinum 2004 release 'Confessions'.
In between albums, Usher was last heard on 2007's R. Kelly album 'Double Up'. He also featured on Omarion's remix of 'Ice Box'.
He has also become quite the entrepreneur in recent years, launching his fragrance, becoming a part owner of the Clevland Cavaliers basketball team and founding the New Look Foundation, a charity for teens to learn about the music business.

Minister Usher "Urkie" Raymond III passed away at an Atlanta hospital on Friday (18.01.08), aged just 52.
The cause of death has not been revealed. He was a member of Greater Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. The funeral will take place at 1pm tomorrow.. |

 Usher's wife has given birth to the couple's first child.
The singer's wife Tameka Foster delivered the 7lb 9oz boy, named Usher Raymond V, at 9.30pm on Monday (26.11.07) in Atlanta, Georgia.
The overjoyed couple said: "We are so happy and proud of our beautiful son. What a blessing!"
